- My 3yo and 5yo daughters love this book and this series. We often give it for gifts. While the original (pancake) is by far our favorite - taco is pretty great. The girls like to practice their knife skills with the cardboard "knife" that pops out of one of the pages. Very sturdy book - stands up to lots of use.
- This book is so cool! Not only is it truly informative, the illustrations are wonderful and the way you interact with the book is just fantastic. Really all of the "Cook in a Book" series are just amazing. This makes a great gift for any little ones in your life! They are guaranteed to love it!
- My two-year old has really enjoyed this book, pretending to prepare tacos and to eat them! This specific book of the larger series contains a cardboard knife that enables my son to help "prepare" ingredients and also allows me to teach him about cooking safely. It also has a cardboard tortilla that he can pretend to put toppings on and "eat". It has definitely piqued his interest in what we do in the kitchen and now he loves to bring his stool over to see and help with meal prep which has been fun.
