This is a challenging task for a middle grade author but Kevin Emerson was up for it. His series has the right mix of action, humor and moments in which characters are considering things much bigger than themselves, or their families. If you have yet to pick up the earlier books, I highly recommend Last Day on Mars, and The Oceans Between Stars. If you are here to see if this book is a great conclusion to the series, it is!
